Hello windowfarmers. Here are some photos of our window farm and check out our video. If you have any questions check out my previous posts or leave a comment. Last night I harvested some basil right from the window and made pesto. Love it!

On October 2nd, we installed this windowfarm at the Whitney.

The next day, we hosted the Whitney’s Family Day for several hundred New York families.

We tried out some of the latest innovations, including:
- suction cups for suspension!
- new way of attaching airpump needles for increased height!
- new airpumps
- regular bottle used as the bottom reservoir
- new dried powder nutrients

Here is a sneak peak of the Window Farmer’s Preparation for the Benefit and Mixer at Eyebeam.
You’ll see that we have approximately 75 water bottles drying after being painted to cover the roots of the plants.
The installation will be approximately 15′ x 15′ and will hang in the large gallery window.
Enjoy!
The person in the image working on the water bottles is Julius — a pioneer!
