Waterpod Invite- Windowfarms portion at 3 pm
This Sunday, I will be giving a workshop on the
Waterpod! I will focus on whatever are the interests of folks who show up. If you bring measurements of your window, I can help make sure you walk away with a sketch of a
full reservoir system designed specifically for one of your windows and all the specs for your components. I will also have a demo model of the
three tier system with me.
Lots of other fantastic urban ag specialists will be around. Come hang out!

This weekend Boswyck Farms welcomes folks to come by see the farm and learn some about hydroponics.
Boswyck Farms is Bushwick’s newest entry into hydroponic growing! Hydroponics offers more yield for less space, promising delivery of delicious fresh fruits and vegetables year-round. Here at Boswyck Farms, still in its “new growth” stage, we are currently working on varieties of peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, basil and cucumbers. Our goal is to be able to provide a steady stream of produce to area restaurants and CSA’s; our delivery area will be bounded by where we can go on bicycle. Very much inspired by the local food movement, we are committed to providing fresh, just-picked quality to the greater Bushwick community, contributing to its better health and welfare. We are not growing for ease of shipping; we are growing for great taste. We will also be offering consulting services for anyone interested in setting up their own hydroponic systems.
Our website is http://boswyckfarms.org/. The website will be upgraded this week to include a blog and much more. Check back Wednesday to see the brand new web site.
We will be open for visits Saturday June 6th noon – 4 p.m. and Sunday June 7th noon – 7 p.m.
The address is 1609 Dekalb Avenue, #1D (near the corner of Dekalb and Wyckoff)
We look forward to seeing everyone. Let us know if you have any questions.
