got some unwanted activity in my bottles, i think its some kind of fungus, its white and guey.
I put some clorine in the reservoir and Im going to let it run for about an hour, then im going to change reservoir and hope it dont return
Its not a bad idea to do this once and awhile…

OK, finaly I got my windowfarm going, i halfway gave up for a while. my problem lay in the fact that i was aming too high. I just could not get the water high enough, and I could not get my reservouar deep enough to get enough pressure for the air not to blow back down in the res. the result being thath i bought a small water pump to get the preassure up before incerting the air. now I actually get too mutch water so i had to build a bufferreservoir at the top and add reduction valves and a overflow tube.
its quite the setup but it works and look goodSounds awesome, and I have seen the intermediate reservoirs before. Good to hear you managed to get it going.

I must admit that the greatest problem with building a windowfarm is getting the bottles. I usually don’t drink soda at all so I didn’t have any bottles to start with. still working on emtying bottles

ok, so i wantes frash vegies all year round, i came across a youtube video with a hydroponics system, desided to try it out. bought a pump, fashined a pipe from some emty bottles and visited youtube for some hints on putting it all together. this is when i discoverd the vertical hydroponics system and windowfarms.org became a member and bought alot of new crap for this system ’cous i can grow more this way. this is how i started out.
