Hi July, Sourcing a 3/8″ outer diameter / 1/4″ inner diameter rigid water tube is critical to having frictionless waterflow. You can order this tubing from mcmaster.com. Wow great! Will you add an adapter for the pump in the kit? Here’s some info about our electrical system. http://www.adaptelec.com/index.php?main_page=document_general_info&products_id=194
We got the kit shipped through a ”proxy service” before the international shipping was available. It seems the adapter from 220->110 volts (that we purchased locally) is the main user of energy, since it uses 16 W even when the pump is not running. Perhaps there should be an alternative kit without the timer and pump, so that we can obtain these locally instead?
There was an exhibition of the Window Farm in ”Kulturhuset” (centrally in Stockholm) that probably generated a lot of interest. More info: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87xmKyJzfCo
I think I found the exact same pump that is in the kit, but for 220 V:

We’re continuing to make updates to the site, I hope you find them useful!

Hi Tanja, Yes, there has been an error in the database that made the Finland group disappear, however I was able to ’re-enable it’ but creating another Finland Group, but you should still go to the old one at: http://our.windowfarms.org/groups/finland
We are looking into it further, but this should be a temporary fix.
