Well…..in India we have hot hot summers…so we use simple desert cooler that are hugely cheaper to use than air conditioners. These comprise basically a small pump (called Tullu after the largest manufacturing co) which pumps up water from a large reservoir at the base to the vented sides of a Box like structure to trickle down khus khus grass matting sachets, back into the reservoir. Theres an exhaust fan reverse-fitted (facing one side) which sucks in air from the three water soaked matted sides and blows cool air into sides. Thats the desert cooler.
Now I plan on adapting the water pumping and drip mechanism to full advantage in the windowfarm I plan on setting up.
I work fulltime so have only wkends to scout for stuff and study whatever. so progress is likely to be slow
