Just finished my mini. I eventually got frustrated try to make the one gallon reservoir work so I threw it out and bought a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. It works SO MUCH better. The water depth is sufficient to generate the pressure needed to make the pump work well. And the air pump [...]

Oregon !: 2 years, 1 month ago · ViewJust finished my mini, 3 plant unit. I think there’s a problem with the injection tube system (their are ominous air bubbles coming out of the water reservoir at the bottom), but it seems to be working well enough regardless, and I’m too lazy to deal with it right now. Hopefully my basil and lettuce will grow and be happy. Fingers crossed.

Do plants absorb bisphenyl-A through their roots? I only know a bit about plant physiology but I was under the impression that the roots wouldn’t be able to absorb something that large. Anyone know?
