I tested out some drip emitters (1GPH) on a one gallon milk jug and the water was dripping at the rate of .125 GPH. If you used a 5 GAL reservoir that would drip constantly all day long no problem. Anybody done any more testing with this?

How long can the time be between watering and resting. I have thought about making a powerless system with 5 gallon buckets. In the morning you raise one up then at night raise the other and let them drip all day. I currently run a system with 30 minute breaks. How long can the waterless [...]

It depends on the plant, i have been successful with collards all winter long. As long as the water does not freeze you are good to go!
