I am a radio journalist working on a story about windowfarms and wanted to find someone with a unique solution (in terms of light, space, etc) to include in my story. I am producing it for German Public Radio (any Germans out there?) but you don’t have to speak German. I would need to come to your home/office/school and speak to you, look at your system, etc. for about 30 min sometime in the next few days/week. Anybody in Brooklyn running a system? i am down from Montreal and would like to be able to share some thoughts in regards to the system… i am working on a project for schools in South America.

I live in Montreal and currently plan a trip to NYC… i will be staying in Brooklyn and one of my plans is to be able to visit some windowfarms projects… i did some experiments in Montreal with aquaponics and hydroponics while connecting them with windowfarms…
I am wondering if there is anybody willing to meet up and show me their systems and exchange ideas…
i am on my way to Australia to learn more about this topics..

Anyone fertilize using hydrogen gas? Have been researching biofuels and fossil fuels and scientific papers on nitrogen fixation. Found it interesting that everyone focuses on nitrogen part of ammonium molecule when it is only 1 part nitrogen to 4 parts hydrogen. Also the energy value of fuels (and fertilizers) is in the hydrogen and carbon, not in the nitrogen.

Just got a Windowfarm kit. Still scavenging around for the bottles. If anybody has some extras, please let me know.
