I think the pulser is finished now.
It’s been dripping steadily since the 6th of June. I can keep the air-pump on it’s lowest setting now too. Until I’m left with 4cm of water that is, then I turn up the pump up to just under half, prepare a big bucket with water to [...] -

The weak point of my low water level pulser design has always been the single part that actually made it work so well: the check valve. @Dayal Khalsa – yes it can lay horizontally. And those check valves do come in different qualities. I’ve noticed one airlift working “not so good” than the others, and that’s the one with a different check valve that took more force to blow through. So I can recommend trying to find some that aren’t “too” [...]

Btw, the most important change I made was moving the hole for the air-tube entrance, very close to the check valve instead of in the middle of the tube. If you want to lay it flat at the bottom [...] -

I initially didn’t have much luck either with the airlift pumps. Mainly because I wanted it to work in a waterlevel that was way too low for them. And I also didn’t fancy a waterpump for the same reason, since those things do take up their space and I needed a “small” solution. But now [...]

Thanks for the interest and positive replies.
The one I have running now, takes the water up 1m 40cm before dripping it in the top bottle. I put a bin with water ready to do some tests for taking it up over 2 meters. Not sure how the system will perform, but I’ll let [...] -
