Wanted to connect with someone else trying this in NE. I am waiting on a kit to be available before I get into it.
Re: tomatoes: I’m trying Red Pear on my balcony this summer -/ it was recommended as a good container type, so I hold out hope it will stay smaller than the Super Bush type I also have growing.

…Or an old pickup, a bike trailer, or a wagon? If we’re willing to go unorthodox, then really go for it. I personally am interested in vehicles powered by pedals or solar panels, and ones that can be left outdoors much of the time.
Another benefit: they’ll draw more attention!

I live in a smallish town, so instead of hunting for supplies up here, i’m waiting for the kit to be available. Gardening keeps me busy all summer, but I would like to start growing indoors to supplement this. Joined this group because I have set up WP blogs before and am always interested in doing more to get good ideas out there!
