Is window farming like ”dead”? its been 1 month and 1 week last time someone made a reply to a question here…

i was watching a lot of windowfarming videos, I wonder: whats it all about those airpumps, dont u hear how exremly annoyingly loud they are?
Why not use water pumps instead? Brushless, 10€ from ebay, 30k hrs life span and silent…
I read about people seeing them fail so much, yea why not use brushless pumps?
