Hi Sam, I have used pressed cocos fibers and I am not amused. Probably it was not soil free and so I get a mould-infested surface. I take it away but my plants are a little bit mingy (can also be a problem with nutrient). Now I use only rock wool and foamed clay. Results [...]

Hi,
not all needles are stainless steel. I have had the same problem. Now I use a plastic T-connector and all is fine.

Hi,
here are some pictures of my windowfarm version.
Enjoy it – JKDFWow. This is such an awesome system. What did you use for that rigid tube? What industry is that pipe used in? I also love your fill level indicator. Your fellow Germans and other Europeans I’m sure will be very excited to learn about some of the equipment you used. Will you please consider contributing your sourcing information to the german translation of the windowfarms instructions? If so, please write to translate[at]windowfarms.org and we will then give you a couple of very easy instructions and links for contributing to the international instructions.
Thank you again. I can’t wait to see a picture of your farm with plants.
