Just built a 3 chamber windowfarm with bicycle needles/aquarium pump as the airlift system. Chambers were made from old plastic 64 oz juice bottles and the reservoir was from a tall, thin glass container (around 2 liters volume). I transplanted one plant from soil, and the other plants will be started from seed. Any hints for amount of watering time/day? constant? I bought a timer for the aquarium pump and I’m trying 30 minutes every 2 hours, but still not sure.
