I have been having problems getting rigid tubing. I found borosilicate glass tube. Too expensive. But I have enough for one column. I found the inflation needles here about 60 cents each but…. they have no internal thread. I found the correct one way valves but the inflation needles don’t fit on the end….

Most bottles have been sourced and painted. The plant holes have been cut. Now to make the suspension and bottom holes. I am sourcing the drill bit today. I can’t find bead chain couplings in jakarta so using fine stainless steel wire instead.

I am starting to get the components for my window farm.
So far I am collecting Aqua 1.5 liter bottles and painting them. The Aqua brand bottles have a waist but also have annoying ridges which make it difficult to tape them consistently and neatly.I found hyrdroton at Ace Hardware.
I also found bead chain (but no couplings) The bead chain is No. 10 size.
I found masking tape 2 inch (no 1 inch)
I bought an air pump but did not know I need a two outlet air pump.
I am having trouble with the sports caps. -
