Versuch mal noch die Wassersäule zu vergrößern. Ich hab auch 6mm ID bei meiner Steigleitung und es blubbert natürlich, aber ich meine das soll so sein… die Fördermenge ausgemessen habe ich noch nie…

Hallo!
Versteh ich das recht, dass du das T-Stück einfach in das Reservoir getaucht hast? Ich hab einen ca 30cm langen Schlauch als Zulauf und etwa 15cm Wassersäule darüber, also gesamt 45cm. Trotzdem blubbert es ca 1 min nach anschalten der Pumpe, bis sich der Fluss umkehrt und die Pumpe fördert. Das funktioniert recht verlässlich. Probier auf jedenfall den Wasserzulauf zu verlängern, damit der Widerstand steigt. Viel Erfolg

Hey, did you manage in the meantime? What is exactly your problem with the instructions? Yes, the list contains quite some items you only might use. But do not worry, just check with the instruction and check on the printed list which part you really need. I did that and went out about 3 times until my windowfarm had its first time in action. So do not loose hope, it can work

I just wanted to say I did NOT get along with the posted instruction regarding the plumbing system. The posted picture of a t-valve-system totally gave me the right spin to set it up and get on to the real stuff.

I just set up my new windowfarm and for simply winning over my girlfriend it has to look less functional and more of an object you’d want in your room. So first of all I bought some colourful duct tape and made it a little more of an accent. My next step probably is to plant more flowers in between, cause those hopefully maintain her well-willing (and willingness to give them water while I’m out of town. Has anyone in particular experience regarding flowering plants?
Hi Gruener, I don’t have experience growing flowers in the windowfarm yet. However, there are a lot of edible flowers that should do well and not require a lot of care. Some particularly pretty flowers are garlic chives, fuscha, violas (wittrockiana only), johnny jump ups, primula vulgaris, pisum pea blossoms, and snap dragons. I’m excited to try the fushca!
