He Sean, I’ve been thinking of doing the same thing now that we’re on the good side of winter here in J-pan. I’ve noticed that Japan seems to be obsessed with small dividers which makes it easy to rubber stamp the current designs and just hand them from fences (especially the wire ones). E.g. http://i.imgur.com/wRyLy.jpg
The ”row fences” may be a little more challenging, but not by much. E.g. http://i.imgur.com/oO9Dm.jpg
Give us an update when you have everything running!
PS: Where about’s are you in Japan?

Hi Stuart,
I’m looking forward to seeing those plans! I would like to build a pumpless system as well and was considering doing it via a wick system… as I couldn’t think of away to slow down the flow as you have done.
Great work, and I’ll keep looking out for your plans.

Haha, wow. As a testament to how disoriented I am since I came here… I didn’t realize this was last month. I can’t help but laugh in spite of myself.
How did the event go?

Hello,
I just arrived in Japan and haven’t been on the boards. I really, really want to come and join the classes for building a window farm and solar light. I see that registration is closed, however
:( I don’t speak much Japanese and would love to get started on my own ASAP. Is there any additional room at the event or any local resources I could tap to get started? I’m eager to learn and although I instructions are on this sight… I don’t know where to buy parts or where to start now that I’m here.In reply to - Emery Premeaux posted an update in the group Japan: I will be hosting a couple of Window Farm build classes at Tokyo HackerSpace for our 10/10/2010 action party!
