When I first started, I bought some “ph up” and “ph down” solution from the hydroponics store. 99% of the time after making a new batch of nutrient solution I need to use a little “ph down” to get it in the proper range. The “ph up” bottle is still really full.

Hopefully, you have purchased some hydroponic nutrients to use so take a look at the directions. For the type I use, I mix a teaspoon of a couple of different nutient bottles into a gallon of water.

After the first baby leaves appear, I would start giving them nutrients, then on mine I put them in the WF when the first true leaves started growing. I bet everyone puts them in a different times. Are those radishes in the middle?

I have the same setup with a 9904 and only 2 column and I don’t do anything with the two unused ports.

Not sure if the temperture would kill them that fast. Could you describe the process for us of putting the plants in the WF? Are they being transplanted from soil to hydroton clay? You have to be very carefull with the roots in doing the transplant as it can put them into shock.

Great video! I had done some peas one time and the root traveled down into my resevoir so let’s see how yours behave. Whaty kind of window is that as it does not seem that clear?
