Just thought I’d share some pictures of my farm’s progress. You can see in the last picture that the snap peas and lettuce didn’t appreciate the pure fish tank water after having the nutrient solution. What kind of a reservoir are you using? The deeper the better, so that you get more submergence of your lift tube. When I built mine I had a similar issue, but changing my reservoir to a deeper 1-Gal Mott’s apple juice bottle solved my problem. I also used 1/8″ polyethylene tubing instead of 1/4″. [...]
