We want to increase the number of users who self-identify as neighbors and incentivize meetups by local groups. We also want to cut down on the number of emails Britta gets from people with the question, “Did I build the first windowfarm in Israel, Spain, etc.” The fastest, easiest, most obvious way to do that would be for users to be able to id their locations by dropping a pin on a map. Can someone figure out if there’s a plug-in for that or figure out what it would take to build it and contribute it back? It would be great if the map could also have different pin colors for different attributes like a blue pin for the first windowfarmer (or once we implement a badge system– levels of expertise or roles such as windowfarm plumbers vs. plant people, etc.).
