Hello, I am new to growing and am trying to figure out what I am doing. I have gotten the materials I need to make the 3 plant setup to see how I like doing this. Now the directions on how to make it is easy and great. I am wanting to know is there any where that goes over how to grow and what to watch for and stuff like that? Now I thought there was a forum here, I may be wrong or not use to this kind of sight but I have not seen any forum or any database of any kind of information. All I have found is groups and members joining. I may be blind or this sight is not designed how I would do it. But any help in using this site or links to videos that actually explain what is going on and how to do things would be great. My goal is to have a setup like this in my companies main office. I really love this idea and it looks awesome. Thank you ahead of time for the help.

Does any one have a window farm designs that requires no water pump or electricity?
I can imagine that you would be able to collect water at the bottom and manually water the plants from the top.
Then again, not being a closed-loop thing, it would evaporate pretty quickly.
So I dunno. Try it!
If you do it manually your whole day will be consumed with watering schedule. If you use a solar-powered pump, it won’t work at night and cloudy days, unless you invest more in a battery storage unit. So you need a pump with electricity.
