Manhattan: 8 months, 1 week ago · ViewGot my kit last week, and I’ve finished scrounging bottles. Actually I cheated and bought a case of 12 1.5L Poland Spring bottles in chinatown for $15. I have extras, if anyone needs.
Does anyone have a tip about how to get the glue off the bottles? Soap doesn’t do it very well, and nail polish remover would probably just burn a hole through the whole bottle.

My name is Graham Meriwether, and I’m part of Leave It Better. We’re about to build 6 Windowfarm kits in two schools in New York. You mentioned you have some Poland Spring Bottles left over. We’d love to use them to recycle and save some cost.

Idk about the glue, maybe warm water? if you get desperate go to a hardware store and get Goof-Off. you’ll probably cover it up with paint or duct tape anyway. Let me know what works, I’m still scrounging for bottles myself. I foud some 1.5 liter bottles but they’re not Poland Springs and they’re too thick. Oh well, just keep on keeping on!
