Hello all! Just wanted to know that myself and my partner Amit are currently kickstarting Bitponics, an open source Hydro/Aquaponics automation system. Currently the devices measures pH, temperature, PPM, humidity, light and has two outlets for controlling such things as lights and pumps. All the data is logged directly to your online account on the Bitponics website or to Cosm. We only have a few days left and would appreciate your support! It includes a freemium suite of online tools for guiding you through the growing process.

I have been building automated systems for some years now. The software is freely available for anyone to use and to discover ways to improve. Recently, the software has been adapted to the Arduino open hardware platform. For window box systems, the software could be used to manage the nutrients, ph, led lighting and more.
