If i was u id check whats inside that stuff and find an equal replacement, i doubt that american company is the only one who knows how to grow plants....

Ich komm auch direkt zu einer Frage die ich hab.

Welche Möglichkeiten gibt es wasserfest Plastik zu kleben?

Als Wasserreservoir möchte ich für meine Windowfarm ein PVC-Rohr verwenden. Dazu will ich als Führungsschiene für den Wasserschlauch einen Kabelkanal an die PVC-Rohrwand kleben.

Ich hab mal einfach mit Montagekleber getestet, ob das alles funktionieren kann, und es läuft gut, allerdingst löst sich der Kleber unter Wasser langsam auf und das Wasser im Tank ist jetzt milchig. Natürlich will ich auch nicht, dass irgendwelche Giftstoffe in das Wasser kommen ...
Ich weiss auch nicht, ob Silikon zum Kleben geeignet ist, abgesehen davon habe ich bisher im Baumark bisher keins ohne Fungizide gefunden und das im Tierhandel ist noch etwas zu teuer.

Jemand eine Idee, oder gib's dafür schon eine Lösung in der Community, die ich übersehen habe?

Ich bin drauf und dran meine erste Windowfarm fertigzustellen !
Es wird eine "dreiflaschige Säule" mit Airlift- Versorgung (klappt bei mir super mit der Sera 275r Plus und T-Verteiler!),
und morgen geht es in den Pflanzenmark, der hier in Berlin erstaunlich weit weg ist, um die letzten "Zutaten" zu besorgen, jedoch frage ich mich, welcher Dünger zu empfehlen ist...Ich habe mich zwar schon umgeschaut, aber meistens nur Hinweise auf Internetshops oder Produkte aus den USA gefunden, die spezifisch für Hydoponik ausgeschrieben sind!
Welchen Dünger aus dem heimischen Pflanzenmarkt kann ich benutzen ? Ich möchte zuerst einmal Salat und Kräuter anpflanzen und habe dafür auch einen schönen Platz direkt am Fenster freigemacht !
Ich freue mich auf Wissenswertes ! ;)

- 0,4 liter Plastik-Becher (10 Stück für 99 Cent) in 1,5 liter Cola-Flaschen (Fanta, Sprite, ect): billige "Töpfe", stabile PET Flaschen
- 7/9 cm Hydro Töpfe (braun, bei Toom-Baumarkt) in Spreequell flaschen (die "dicken" mit kurzem hals!): "richtige" Töpfe, mit stabilen PET-Flaschen, und das ganze recht klein. Die Größe reicht aber denke ich, darin habe ich schon tomaten gehabt ;-)
- Netz-Töpfe (gibt es in Grow-Shops, ca. 8,5 cm Durchmesser oben) in 0,4 Liter Plastikbechern
- 1 Liter Joguhrt Becher & "Standart Kräutertopf" (hat ca. 12 cm durchmesser oben) aus dem Supermarkt

evtl. wäre es mal praktisch diverse PET-Flaschen zu "vermessen" und die Maße hier irgendwo zu sammeln. Das erleichtert die Planung einer Windowfarm doch erheblich...

Was Pumpen angeht hab ich mit Pumpen der Firma Eheim gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Die waren in der Regel recht leise (im Vergleich zu meinen 2 anderen Pumpen ein Riesenunterschied!), und sind sogar regelbar was die Luftmenge angeht.

Allerdings zeigt sich beim Basilikum und Petersilie noch nichts :(
Ich habe sie jetzt in die Nähe der Heizung gestellt wo es etwas wärmer ist und hoffe, dass die Sonne bald mal wieder scheint :)

Ich habe auch vor mir meine eigene Windowfarm zu basteln. Ich habe vor morgen zum Baumarkt zu gehen und dachte mir dort eigentlich alles bekommen zu können?(Außer das Aquarienzubehör vielleicht) Scheint als ob ich dann doch einiges bei Amazon u.ä. bestellen muss?!Mhmm:)
Wollte euch mal fragen was für Flaschen Ihr für eure Projekte benutzt?Mache mir etwas Gedanken, weil ich natürlich den Bastelplan nicht eins zu eins umsetzen kann..(amerikanische Produkte) Und welche Schlauchdicke?Will natürlich das alles passt!
Was baut Ihr so an? Lediglich Kräuter, oder auch Salat oder ähnliches?Wahrscheinlich ist der Platz in der Flasche dafür etwas zu beengt..!

Kann man Salatsamen direkt in Blähton keimen lassen oder muss ich sie vorher irgendwo anzüchten?
Und wenn ja, wie mache ich das?
Kennt ihr irgendwelche Pflanzen die besonders pflegeleicht sind und sich gut für Anfänger eignen?
Bei mir gehen immer regelmäßig die Pflanzen ein und ich weiß nie ob ich zuviel oder zu wenig Wasser gegeben habe :)
