Detroit, Mi: 1 year, 9 months ago · ViewI bet there are some public spaces that would welcome a window farm installation. Maybe get a local group together to build?

Detroit, Mi: 1 year, 10 months ago · ViewOk, Pictures of my mini system are coming. My work shut off the heat to my building over Christmas and I lost almost all of my plants. But the new set has sprouted and I also took that time to make some changes to the system. Our system here is completely indoors. If I was building in a 3 season porch I would say as soon as the Avg temp is 50 – 60 degrees to start the system.

working on a window farm for our 3-season porch window. Any advice on when I can start planting-min temp where things will still grow in this chilly MI weather?
