Just joined this site and group. I am an architecture student working on my thesis project in which I am focusing on urban farming and more specifically a individual DIY approach. Have been working on my own window farm experiments for a while now. Hope to learn something new from the projects on this site and contribute what I have learned independently.

Also, I am currently looking for advisers or people to help provide me with additional resources for my thesis project. If anyone in the area can help please let me know. Thanks!

I am a high school teacher/librarian hoping to have multiple windowfarms in our school library next year. Anyone have a system up and running that you would be willing to let me visit/ask questions about? Thanks!

Ive been toying with the idea of starting a four column farm and I am finally taking the plunge. Going to the hardware store today to see what I can find as far as supplies. Im usually not hesitant about diving in when it comes to DIY and building anything really, but I am a bit anxious about the complexity of the plumbing system. That makes it all the more exciting though

Ordered the 4 column system instead of just building it myself so I could save some time. I want to focus on the lighting system by designing highly efficient LEDs and learning all about the various plants and growth cycles.
