My first Windowfarm attempt

Hi everybody,
After seeing all those great DIY Windowfarms I just had to create one for myself.
As a good R&D-I-Y’er I didn’t go for the suspended system you normally see, but I wanted to create a wooden frame to suspend the bottles in.
I have learned a lot over the weekend while working on this project, and probably will create one or two more window farms for some other windows.
One thing I’m not to sure about is the waterflow. I think I’m using a good pump, an Eheim variable dual outlet 400, I just have the idea that there should be a better waterflow than I have at this time. link to YouTube movie.
I’m using a ball pump adapter connected to a 6/4 mm airhose. and already made some extra holes in the waterflow hose just below the air outlet, which improved the waterflow just a bit.

If you could give me some feedback about the flow if it is ok or I need to tweak it some more, than that is greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Jeroen

Hello Jeroen,
You’re good windowfarm engineer, I think.
I’m trying to make a windowfarm now but I don’t know how to start.
Now I need more information and drawings about windowfarm system now.
Thanks,
Lee

I think it’s a great idea. I’d personally prefer to have some kind of stand I could use to move the plants around rather than having them hanging in the same spot.
