Hi everybody,
I am working on a beautiful WF for a while now. It works pritty well with nice and stabel growth. I planted strawberry and pepper (and some more…)
What I am surprised about is the fact, that both plants have plenty of blossoms, however, both have only one single fruit. The other blossoms wilt and after that nothing happens. If anything happens, there are very small fruits which hardly grow.
What happens here? What can I do for more harvest?

You might have to help them with pollination. Peppers I usually hand pollinate, use a small brush or something similar and just brush around the inside of the flowers. It can also help to have more air circulation around the plants so that they pollinate.
The fruits that hardly grow I don’t know what is happening, maybe you should change the composition of the liquid fertilizers. There are special ones especially for fruiting.
I pollinate every flower which comes up with the pollen of another one. Still hardly anithing is happening after the flower withers…
how long are you having this problem? with my peppers over here it took some time to see anything grow out after the flower wilted but now I’ve like 20 peppers growing over here
I bought a strawberry and pepper plant in the store and planted them to my WF. Short time after that the first flower came up. This flower wilted after a while and a nice big fruite started to grow. After hat several more flowers came, but non of them changed to a fruite. Specially the ones of the pepper just wilt and than fall off.
I bought the flowers about 1.5 months ago…

I had the same problem . What I do is get an electric toothbrush , turn it on , and gently touch the toothbrush to the blossom..about 5 to 7 seconds. I went from 3 tomatoes on one plant to 15! Using this method..
i love pollinating my plants by hand a good shake of the plant will help pollination also. what nutrients do you use?
Hi, I am using the “SERAMIS Vitalnahrung für Grünpflanzen”. Actually I am using it through out the hole growing process and now it works pretty well.
