Water pump instead of using the air pump

Does anybody knows if can I use a water pump instead of using the air pump to feed my window farm?
I already have a water pump that used to pumps water into a small water , something like this http://www.kineticfountains.com/fountainpro-pump-wt55lv.asp?idcategory=208
Can i use this pump or do i need to pump the water with air bubbles?
you can use whatever way to get the liquid to flow in your system. The reason air pumps were used it that it is cheaper and sometimes quieterÂ.
Check out the V1 instructions. The problem is that the nutrient fluid usually clogs up the pump after awhile. The air pumps were far more reliable.
