Anxiously awaiting my two windowfarms. How is production coming along and I don’t think I was billed for shipping. Please advise.

This is Britta. I’m glad that you are anxious and I can’t wait for you to get growing too.
We sent out the survey through Kickstarter that asks you for your shipping information a few days after the project closed. You should have received it both through your Kickstarter account’s messaging and through your email inbox. It would say it was from Kickstarter. If you did not fill it out at the time, then forget it. The Kickstarter site is extremely limiting and will not let us resend it to you. You should contact Pirapha or Destiny on the windowfarms core team directly at info [at] windowfarms [dot] com to provide her your shipping information.
If you did not add the shipping to your Kickstarter pledge, tell Destiny that as well. Again, unfortunately, Kickstarter is very limited here as well, so we will have to charge you separately through our website.
I just want to make sure you are aware that the windowfarms will not ship until March, as we stated all over the place on the Kickstarter page. (The page is still up there if you want to look at it. Nothing has changed but the first line.) The windowfarms are not finished being made yet. They are not sitting in a warehouse waiting to ship quite yet.The Kickstarter fundraising was to rally the money to pay to have them manufactured, which takes several months. They have to use robotically controlled precision metal cutting machines to cut the molds for the new parts out of five multi-ton hunks of steel. We just got the money out of Kickstarter finally a couple of weeks ago to get the producers their down payment to start. We will have some footage soon to show you guys what the whole process of having a product made here in the USA by sustainable manufacturers looks like!! Pretty awesome.
In the meantime, why don’t you get a plan for your plants in place using our digital tool? Ask Pirapha for the url for the my.windowfarms.com web page we assigned you. You can be one of our early users. It’s the first iteration of the digital companion to your windowfarm, which we are also still building out. You can use it in its current state to start taking readings to determine your window’s microclimate and it will link you to a plant guide that goes specifically with your window’s microclimate so you can make a customized planting plan.

PS- For all the diy windowfarmers here: we will bring you guys the new digital plant tool soon too but we have to start it out on the easier test case of the limited variables of the new windowfarms and figure out how to get it to integrate with your account.
