How do I grow lettuce?

I just finished building a v1 window farm, and I wanted to know how to grow lettuce in it starting from a seed. Should I drip just water for the seed for 2 weeks and then move on to nutrients? And how long do I need to drip the nutrients/water for if not continuously? When should I harvest? Thanks for your help!
Easiest thing to do would be to get some rockwool and put the seeds in it. They will be easily movable.
You can germinate with regular water, but move to nutrients after that.
I used to use a constant small drip in my V1 for Butterhead lettuce.
Lettuce takes 6-8 weeks to mature.
