Mi plants die as soon as I place them in my WF

I am having trouble keeping my plants alive. I just started my WF and I have already tried to put several plants and they all die soon after I place them in the WF. Yesterday I tried putting a beautiful mint plant and it died after about half an hour of being in the WF. I have tried also some Cilantro, and the same has happened. My feeling is that the window is way too cold for these plants. Could this be the reason? I have checked the PH and it is fine…the temperature of the nutrient solution is 20 C. But my beautiful plants keep dying…Can someone please help me!!!
Not sure if the temperture would kill them that fast. Could you describe the process for us of putting the plants in the WF? Are they being transplanted from soil to hydroton clay? You have to be very carefull with the roots in doing the transplant as it can put them into shock.
you should removes all nutrients and rinse your system.
fill it with clean water, Maybe buy a bottle for your next one…and spring water has good minerals for plants.
just let it run with water, mycorhiaze fungus/bacteria, and some root development nutrition, like General Hydroponics BioRoot.. it is organic, cheap, and plants love it, and it helps the bacteria and funguses that are beneficial take hold. Only use about 2-5ml/gal… so just a few drops. pH should be ok, but might need slight adjustment, just shoot for a range of 5.8 – 6.5… pH tends to rise, so if you have to increase it, just stop when you get to the the 5.8 range. If you go overboard with the additive, you should start over, not try to re-compensate.
test your pH with drop or litmus to be certain, make sure they are fresh.
When in doubt, reduce your nuts and clean it out and use fresh water.
Water needs air. So make sure it runs for about 10 mins every hour.
20C should be fine.
