A few questions before Kickstarting

New to the world of windowfarming and hydroponics in general, I have a few questions about what’s included in the kickstarter package. I’m interested in buying the two column windowfarm, but I’m not clear on what that entails. I live in Montréal and would need it shipped, but some of the packages list international orders as being without pumps or timers. Is this true of the $169 international two column pledge for we Canadians? Is this package essentially the the “classic” with a second column? That is, does it include all the things listed in the image under the “classic” on the kickstarter page, or are some things excluded?
Secondly, what sort of power does the pump take? Is this something that’s going to run all day, every day and leech electricity/racking up a high electricity bill? Or is it a low energy intake system that runs intermittently based on the instructions of the timer? Any help at all will greatly influence which package I purchase, or even whether I pledge at all. Thanks in advance, and best of luck in the remaining 9 days!

I am hoping Britta (@Britta) can she some info on the top area. Pumps and timers can be purchased from Home Depot, Hydroponic Stores and Aquarium/Pet stores.
Power is regular AC. They have the same power requirements we have up here in Canada. Works out to about 8/year (I have seen this on another post).
I’ve had systems that run all day, they don’t use much power at all.
