Water only flows when reservoir full

Hey everyone. My windowfarm is setup and running however if the water line gets more than about two inches below the fill opening of the reservoir bottle there is simply not enough pressure to get the water to the top bottle. I’m using the 4+1 bottle setup with the 4 outlet petco pump advised in the instructions.
Has anyone else had issues similar to mine?
Thanks!
For any of the air lift systems, the deeper the resevoir the better and it is very common for them to stop when it gets to low. I have to top off the resevoir on mine once or twice a week to keep things flowing.
Once or twice a week wouldn’t really bother me but once or twice a day can be a pain. Not so much for the filling, but rather if I’m going to be gone for the entire of the day I need to change my pump settings so I conserve water. I may look into using a bigger container for my bottom reservoir to try and fix this.
Working on this issue now, does anyone have great solutions? I have followed the normal list of tips in the guide for best water flow (straight tube, set tube, at least one inch overlap with needle, pump pressure adjusting, make sure water can get into tube at bottom of reservoir, etc.). I guess I need to make bigger reservoirs
consider increasing the resistance in your system upstream instead of focusing on decreasing resistance upstream. use a longer coiled tube from the reservoir. As I understand airlift the balance is important, height times amount of water times hydraulic resistance (bends, outlets/inlet, tube)
