Windowfarms at the Whitney Museum of American Art!!
2:21 pm in Completed Window Farms, Materials and Resources by britta
On October 2nd, we installed this windowfarm at the Whitney.

The next day, we hosted the Whitney’s Family Day for several hundred New York families.

We tried out some of the latest innovations, including:
- suction cups for suspension!
- new way of attaching airpump needles for increased height!
- new airpumps
- regular bottle used as the bottom reservoir
- new dried powder nutrients

So, how to the suction cups work. What are these new innovations?
I’m eager to learn as much as possible and implement the latest design improvements/techniques.
This is awesome. The Whitney – what an honor!
Congratulations.
